Are you playing the new Starfield game? If so, you're likely enthralled by its beautiful world and story. But don't be so swept away in it that you might be missing out on discovering some of the features that can give your gaming experience a real boost! With our helpful tips, we’ll help guide you through some things to look out for when exploring the universe of Starfield. Check out our blog post to discover more about what this amazing game has to offer!
Basic gameplay- O2 management, jetpack boosting, and medkits!

With O2 management at the forefront of your gameplay, understanding it is key to Starfield. Some of the things that your O2 affects are melee fighting, sprinting, and holding your breath while aiming down a scope. What you probably know is that over encumbrance makes it extremely difficult to regenerate your O2 levels. What you might not know is you can continue to use O2 until your CO2 meter is full. If you're sprinting, it'll stop you automatically. A helpful tip for sprinting, especially in a low-gravity environment, you can regenerate your O2 in the air, while jumping or boosting! It took me an embarrassing amount of time to find out how to boost. You need the Boost Pack Training skill, it's a tier 1 that can be unlocked anytime. Then you just need to press your jump button and then press it again to use your jetpack! The last helpful hint I have is to collect as many medkits as possible. If a vendor is out of money and they have medkits, BUY THEM! After you get a few levels in you'll have a nice surplus and then make sure to use the medkits!
Ship management- how to acquire, build and upgrade!

One of the best parts of any sci-fi game is the spaceship! In Starfield there's a fun way to acquire new ships and that is stealing one! It's easy! Go to a lightly populated planet, look for any landing sites with your scanner, and a ship will show up usually quickly. They will also leave quickly so if you are far away you want to book it! once you get to the ship run inside, don't bother with the people outside, the ship will leave if they all are killed! Next, kill everyone inside! There are usually 3 or so people all in the cockpit, open the cockpit door throw a couple of grenades and they'll be dead! Sit at the pilot seat and take off. It's now your ship! Once you leave with it, it'll be your home ship, you can change this at any port. You can then register the ship, and use it, modify it, or sell it! One of the main changes I would make is to the weaponry I like a combination of missiles, lasers, and ballistics, this can be done with the ship upgrade option. If you're wondering how to use the shipbuilder to increase cargo or crew and passenger stations, this is also easy. Enter the shipbuilder and move your cursor off the ship. You can then add instead of select. Here you can choose cargo, or different habitats that include benches for upgrades, additional crew stations and passenger stations for transport missions. Next, remove the pieces of your ship you don't want and connect the new pieces. You might have to readjust some things, but it's all intuitive and the game won't let you build an unusable ship. If you change your mind because of budget or design constrictions, don't worry, just exit without accepting the changes and you'll be back to your starting point with no money lost!
Space combat in Starfield- utilizing weapons, assigning ship power and system targeting.

Starfield's space combat is an intense and exhilarating experience, with players utilizing an array of weapons to take down enemy ships. It's not just about brute force, though- assigning ship power strategically can make all the difference in a fight. When in combat you don't need the grav unless you are trying to escape. divert the power from there into your shields, always have that full, and then into your weapons. I like to even take some power from the engines, just not all of it. Make sure you keep your speed in the sweet spot about in the middle, this makes it easy to outmaneuver the opposition. Players can also target specific systems on enemy ships, making for some truly satisfying destruction. To unlock this, you need the targeting control systems skill, which can be unlocked with any level up since it's tier 1. Once unlocked you can use it to target a ship's specific components and if you disable the engines, you can even board the ship! Whether you prefer a heavy artillery assault or a more surgical strike, Starfield's space combat system offers a variety of options to suit your play style. Get ready to engage in thrilling battles among the stars.
